About me...

My name is Nathan Roman, and I have a passion to help others.

Working individually or with teams creating a flexible and productive environment that results in understanding and better execution.

I help people implement or carry out temperature mapping studies and equipment qualifications.

In the area of temperature mapping my goal is to better inform and guide those who aim to meet regulatory requirements.

I’ve personally been providing commissioning, qualification and validation services for over 22 years.

So, not everybody’s story is the same as you can well imagine.

And mine is certainly not like the norm. I got into the pharmaceutical validation field by chance, if you will.

From the age 18 - I worked as a computer-aided draftsman in the aggregate industry. I prepared detailed plans, drawings and 3-D renderings for the manufacture and erection of steel (columns, beams, trusses, stairs, handrails, metal decking, etc.) used in the construction of quarry plant structures.

My job at the time was rewarding and I was just kind of getting started in my profession as an AutoCAD draftsman.

My uncle who happened to be a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry and had been for many years prior called me up and asked if I knew how to read P&IDs.

He had an opportunity for additional help on a local project and he needed someone to walk-down some P&IDs.

Of course, I knew how to read P&IDs because I prepared detailed plans and drawings on AutoCAD every day-all day.

Since I knew exactly what he needed, I went to help him for a weekend project in Lancaster PA - and that was my first exposure to the pharmaceutical world.

Walking around the facility holding a P&ID in one hand, with a highlighter in the other and just marking up the print. This was in the year 2000 so the P&ID markup was still done the traditional way!

Performing ductwork and process piping walk-downs was my first exposure into the pharma industry and from that point on he brought me and my two cousins (his sons) into the industry.

I left the AutoCAD world, and I entered the Validation world.

I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2007 when I joined my two cousins as a partner in a Life Sciences professional services start-up, growing to 30 million in under 10 years and making the Inc 5000 list 5 years in a row.

55+ companies, 120+ Customers and over 2000 equipment qualifications later, my experience in the Health and Life Sciences has been a rewarding one.

Over two decades of experience working hand-in-hand with customers and folks like you.
